FrOctober is the twisted brainchild of three mums who met on Twitter: Becca (that’s me), Dee and Eliza. It started out as a personal challenge to break me out of my lifelong Jeans Rut – I thought I’d challenge myself not to wear jeans for a month, tweeted about it and was joined by Eliza and Dee, two bloggers, mums and experienced frockers who’d been inspiring me to make more of an effort for a while. It felt right to make FrOctober a charity challenge and as all three of us have some personal experience of Post-Natal Depression, we picked PNI ORG UK.
What’s marvellous about this is that it means no one can give you any grief whatsoever about buying new dresses, as it’s actually being selfless and helping other people. Doing your bit for PND and making the best of yourself – what’s not to love?
